I know its overstated...but I loved the BN series. I went apeshit for them. The whole idea is genius. You guys should try the gameboy roms; theres an -in my opinion- quite unique gameplay.
(If not unique; very verry enjoyable.)

When it comes to the Megaman Zero series, 1 and 2 were my favorites. 3 was okay and 4 was rather bland.

And Uramaki, the MMZ series was for the Gameboy Advance.

And Retro, not to prove you wrong or anything, but there were 6 Battle Network games in total, the last one dealing with the Cybeasts Falzer and Gregar.

The Battle Network series I enjoy the most. Each battlechip you got in the games were had their advantages and disadvantages to them. It was when you could start using Program Advances that turned the tide in a battle. I own Battle Network 2 as a rom, but own the rest as cartridges.

Yeah I know. I just wasn't very clear what I wrote xD I meant that I enjoyed the 5th one because you were able to play as colonel. Man I suck at trying to write coherent words in the morning heheh.

I liked 5, but didn't like the Mission Mode unless you had the right Folder to get through each mission. Plus you had to use the right folder to accommodate your allies abilities as well, so it was a nice challenge.

I agree it definitely was a challenge. I had to restart them way, way too many times. 'Unlike when I played Gregar (I played 6 before 5)
Few questions to bring up.
Gregar or Falzar?
Whats the favorite cross (fuze? I forgot what it was called... but not including beast out)
Whats favorite beast out cross?

Falzar and Gregar are the Cybeasts in MMBN 6 that caused chaos and disaster throughout the Net. They destroyed many programs and caused tremendous damage all over the place. They created a huge hole in one area of the Net that was to show an extent of their powers. During this, they fought against each other to see which of them was the strongest and killed each other and roamed the Net as spirits. Megaman is the only Navi who can control both Cybeasts inside him and keep them under control.

I don't think there is a favorite Cross. Each has it's advantages and disadvantages. My favorite from MMBN 6 Gregar was Elecman's then Slashman's Cross forms.

Favorite Beast Out Cross? That's a tough one.

I preferred Gregar more although Falzar's attack hits more areas on the field. Not the charge attack it can do, but the basic attack when you hold down the B button.

I agree. I preferred the idea of gregar, the rapid fire, designs and all that over the falazar.

The best way to use Protoman's Cross was to use it with a lot of Sword chips in the folder. Otherwise, his charged attack was pretty much useless.

You mean Sword, Wide Sword, Long Sword to make the Program Advance or in MMBN 6, you can use Sword*, WideBlade B, LongBlade B to get the same thing.

Ahh! Battle Network and Zero... good ol' times...

But still, I like X4 better. It is the very first Megaman game I played...

And Greger > Falzer. I don't use Beast-Cross though, really a bad choice IMO.
No love for Bass here?

Bass was only good if used in a Program Advance. Otherwise, I never used him by himself as a GigaChip. I never understood why they made the Bass chip great in one game, terrible in another game when it comes to the Battle Network series. In my opinion, they should have made it equal between both games.

Also, collecting every single chip in Battle Network 1 was the hardest to do. Two of the hardest chips to collect in that game were the Howitzer H and Dropdown B. Others you had to get through tradeoffs only.
