Post by Korkor XI on August 31st 2010, 1:03 pm

Cawmon, who doesent know dis gaim?
Durr, its an RPG and such things.

K, plot copypasta: Oblivion, the fourth game in the Elder Scrolls series, is set within the province of Cyrodiil, the heartland and Imperial capital of Tamriel. Emperor Uriel Septim VII
is assassinated in flight from his own palace, but just before he dies
he passes to you - the foreordained of his dreams - the mystic Amulet of Kings.
The adventure begins with the quest to find Uriel's lost and
illegitimate son, the only heir to the throne. In a world where the
forces of darkness seek their ultimate dominion over the ranks of man
and mer alike, you alone stand between the future of Tamriel and the
gates of Oblivion.

I actually luv it and i picked it up again last days.

Screenshots.
Spoiler:

MUDCRABZ!!!

etc.

Heard nothing but good things about it but I've never really put any time into it. Tried it once but went back to Fable.

You should try it, it has interesting plot as a main quest but you dont have to do it if you dont want to, instead you can join some other guilds like Dark Brotherhood (ftw), thieves guild, mages, fighters e.t.c. I actually never made whole main plot quest, i made it from start to middle then skipped via savegame to 3 last quests. Thoose 3 quests are so awesome omg.
Meh, i dun like being a hero and a savior, im more like thief and assasin.

Yeah, it's a heaps good game. I haven't played it much cause currently my PS3 is broken and the only other way to play is on my bro's laptop and he goes to boarding school.

And I also prefer to be Assassin/Thief/Fighter. All in all it's a pretty epic game.

Meh, maybe I'll barrow the game from my friend. He's a fan of the game also. Replaying the Fable franchise atm though.

good ol Elder Scrolls, played it twice, maybe I'll begin to play again later.
I read somewhere that they're planning to make a sequel, but the new producers are Obsidian, not Bethesda.

Producer's roll is to fund and advertise a game. Shouldn't impact the gameplay what so ever unless they are stingy, which I doubt they will be for such a successful franchise.

I played, the game is great, textures, graphic... and it doesn't require #$%^! (use imagination Very Happy) configuration.

But. There's but. I think Morrowind is much better game. Much, much better. It has much, much worse (i'm not exaggerating) graphic but gameplay is the best i've ever seen.
It's older game but I suggest to try this one.

Ninja is like an assassin

Swordsman is like... a guy who is pro at using a sword, duh (I use a long silver sword - not so ninja, eh?)

And a thief is... a thief, lol

Anyway, it looks like I'm stuck with this game for a while
